Default Essex Regiment T Titles

Can anyone explain these please? Or are they just cobbled together?

Jon

Jon,

I think they are complete fakes, made in a slip up in the translation when ordering from the Far East.

their colour, surface texture and non sharp edges are signs I see in other fake T title son ebay.

regards

Default Essex "T" titles

I think the "T"'s are the wrong proportion, definitely duds.

Ditto all of the three previous posts.

My first thought was they took the thinner T that you often see on great coat titles (e.g., T/N.Lancashire) and made a mold, thereby losing some dimension and definition. The 'Essex' also looks off. It doesn't quite match anything in Westlake or anything I have for Regular or TF battalions, RFA or Yeomanry.

Thanks for all the comments. I assumed that as T Essex 1 and 2 never existed they were dodgy and you have all confirmed it.
