Default QVC Helmet Plate - good or bad?

This one cost a heck of a lot more than the presentation one but I have my doubts about it now that I have taken it apart for cleaning. To me it looks okay from the front when all together but when stripped down it doesn’t look ‘normal’, in particular the globe fixed with thin wire pieces

To me Ray, the detailing on the crown looks very poor and smooth. The back also.

I don't like the construction method either.
Cheers,

It certainly looks of very recent manufacture.
