Brussels Leave Hostels shoulder title.
locally machine made shoulder, for the Brussels Leave Hostels of the British Liberation Army.Brussels was liberated in Sept 1944, and was ideal for giving servicemen a respite from the frontline. Shoulder title worn by largely female staff both local and provided by NAAFI. Evidence of having been removed from a uniform, good condition.
