Yes, Toby I do have the dates / details - I was somewhere elsewhere.............. For me, it's not just the collecting - it's the research - generally, but particularly KLR)! If you go to the National Archives and go into WO 359 Royal Army Clothing Department, Records of Changes; Vols 1 - 21, You will find every badge you want........dates, details etc etc Last edited by KLR; 16-10-22 at 06:31 PM. |

I have the pages 1 to 70 of anodised aluminium badges list of changes and can see that the Welsh Guards alone changed to slider in 1951 with alteration in 1953, Alan, but I can’t find the Pattern reference 8387/1915 that you refer to. On what page is it please, or is it a different document (I’m going cross eyed squinting at ream after ream)?
