Cloth MGC badge?
Hello,
Admittedly I know very little about the MGC and don't collect it. This was in a pile of trade badges I was buying and was not expensive. I am assuming it is MGC but I cannot find any info it. Real or not? Private purchase? Curious as to usual collector value, as I literally have no clue or info on if/ when worn by who. Thank you in advance! John |

Hello,
These are an unofficial series of crossed Vickers MG skill at arms/prize badges worn in the MGC in WW1. Found without crown, with star and with crown, the same as crossed rifles badges. regards

Lovely badge. Some colloquial evidence they were worn post-war (up to 1922) and I think the Canadians wore something similiar (I don't have my Edwards and Langley to hand, but it is certainly in there).
Been after one for years... |
