A long complicated story behind the request but has anyone ever seen this title with curved ends please?

Jon,
I have a theatre made pair with curved ends. I am not sure if this is helpful. Regards Mark |

No, but, I have an image of the white on scarlet printed one with round ends. Not mine but I do know who had it.

Gents,
Thanks for your responses. I have a contemporary reference to 112 RAC, converted from a Foresters Bn wearing an unofficial green and white Foresters title with curved ends in September 1942 whilst serving in 42nd Armoured Division. I hoped I might find one. Would be interested to see the theatre made one anyway please. Jon |

Curved Foresters
Morning Jon,
Here are the Foresters titles I mentioned above, along with the 2nd Armd Bde sign that came with them. Regards Mark |

Mark,
Fascinating. Thank you. I now have to do some digging to identify who, where and when. Jon |

14th Bn Sherwood Foresters were lorried Infantry in 1st Armoured Div until disbandment in late 1944 after heavy fighting on the Gothic Line so the patch may be the Div rather than Bde?

Hi Jon,
I bought this shoulder title with serifs awhile ago. I bought the item with a clear view this was an RAC item. Sadly I never kept the sale detail from ebay. I have another, theatre-made slip-on shoulder title with serifs but Italy made. The one I showed on the previous post appears UK made. |
