WW1 poetry Book with Durham Pals poems and letters
Hi all,
Over 20 years ago I donated a number of wartime poems and other writings of my grandad Sgt. Charles Herbert Moss, 18TH (SERVICE BATTALION) DURHAM PALS, DURHAM LIGHT INFANTRY to the DLI museum. Several excerpts have featured in Richard Van Embden's book "The Soldier's War'.
I was pleased to see some of the poems and a couple of letters from my grandad appear in a relatively new book of WW1 war poetry.
'Tommy Rot: WWI Poetry They Didn't Let You Read' by John Sadler and Rosie Serdiville.
Just for those with an interest in such things of 100 years ago today. Lest We Forget.
Cheers Dean
