Camel Corps Badges
Hi, the stg silver badge is as genuine as a $3 bill.
There are four different genuine Camel Corps badges: 1. Sand cast hat badge with crown (camel facing to right) 2. Sand cast collar badge with crown (camel also faces to right) 3. Die struck collar/cap badge with crown (like the stg silver copy), camel faces to left 4. Die struck collar badge without crown (camel faces to right). I have never seen a facing pair of collar badges of any of the three varieties. Years ago I got some Camel Corps badges from an veteran's estate, obviously genuine, and they included a cast "camel" badge of medium size, also an "ACC" title which I would have thought to be Army Catering Corps. |
