Default What are they?

Hi, probably obvious but I bought some Canadian cloth badges and these were in the collection. The Royal Regiment Canada seems straightforward but I can't find it. The R.W.R. is a complete unknown to me but was in the collection and lastly what period is the spurs badge and who would have worn it? Thankyou in advance, best wishes Mike

Hi Leigh, it's a thought but they seem to have opted for the little devil triangle and the Canadians didn't appear to use much regimental abbreviations. Hopefully someone will come up with a positive identification, thanks and best wishes Mike

Hi. Leigh has the identification of the RWR correct. It is an officers' title for the Royal Winnipeg Rifles, circa the SWW. The Royal Regiment title is an unauthorized pattern, circa the Second WW.

Hi Bill, thanks for the info. Great to know the RWR was ww2. Was the Royal Canadian home service or European theatre? and any ideas who would have worn the spurs badge?.........
Hi Leigh, thank you, you were right, a little bit of knowledge can be a dangerous thing, obviously over thought that one. Good thing Bill's about, best wishes to you both and thanks again, Mike
