Authentic or Copy ?

Hi folks,
I recently purchased a Rising Sun badge.
The buyer stated 'Guaranteed genuine'...
There's no maker's mark, it has a gold appearance.
The other ones I have in my collection have a blackened, bronze, or copper
finish to them.
Could this be a replica, or the real deal ?
Any feedback would be most appreciated.

Looks good to me.

Not all Rising Sun badges have maker's marks.

I've never seen any fakes with lugs (some fakes of the slidered UK made version do exist however) - I reckon a million odd Rising Sun badges were made for both both World Wars so it's quite a common badge.
