Arrow Various Wings

Good day

Is it possible from these pictures to say if these are genuine, if they are RAF and what sort of date? Sorry ..... so many questions.

The reverse picture is of the wings in the same order as the obverse.

Many thanks

James

Everything on the left looks good, just from the photograph you show, not sure about the RO, on the face of it, probably original, not very keen on the other two!

Thanks folks,

Here are some additional pics. Any help? The E and QM clearly never been worn. Would they be more modern or just bad copies?

Your comments are most appreciated.

Just a brief glance at the QM brevet suggests to me that it really cannot be of the period it proports to be, ask yourself a very simple question, does it look fifty years old, the original brevet was obsolete by 1970!

The RO looks fine to me. I had a very similar one until I recently sold it.

Good point and very well made. Thank you. I shall certainly remember that the QM brevet became obsolete in 1970.

So 4 out of 6 are OK. Good.

They were found lurking at the bottom of a box of Army cloth shoulder titles I bought recently. I've never handled RAF items before so this has been a very useful learning experience.

Thank you gentlemen for your help.

Well, to be honest, I just say what I can see, wrong shape and wrong materials, I do not believe it to be original, but, the brevet itself is not particularly scarce and getting hold of the real thing should not be an issue.
