Default F Squadron

I attach some (bad) photos taken in the Italian Airborne Forces Museum in Pisa last year showing an original F Squadron battledress and associated insignia. One of the current Italian SF units (185 RRAO) now wears a variant of the WWII badge and I attach a photo of that and an original F Sqn badge. Hope that helps.

Who knows? Some are printed on a single piece of cotton, some are made up of three pieces of cotton - red, white and green. All are very flimsy - which may account for their rarity.
