Your gilt button is Nigeria Ports Authority.
The black button is, I believe, Port of London Authority. Roger |

The gilt buttons are Nigeria Ports Authority
The badge could be European, but there are quite a few sovereigns using mirrored letters C. If the badge is from the same period as the buttons then I do not know a matching Carl. All items are collectable, please do not throw them out. |

The badge is or was Luxembourg Army. Worn as a cap badge and I believe also as a pocket badge.

It is the Royal Cypher of Grand Duchess Charlotte of Luxembourg (1919-1964). From recent photos of the present Army it would seem to be a Collar Badge. The attached pic shows its use on the Lux. Order of Merit which she instituted in 1961.

My mistake, yes, a collar badge, too small for a cap badge. The present-day collar badges have the "H" cypher of Grand Duke Henri and the cap badges are a coat of arms design and look to be massive.
