Unknownn RASC "Fleet" Unit Painting
Here is an image of a Painting of an RASC DUKW Unit on the beaches at Normandy June 1944, or indeed it could be Mediterranean/Italy ??
Anyone have an idea of the unit shown? White DUCK on BLACK background (Unit TAC Sign) 1392 inside Formation sign (above the Duck) It would be nice to know this information to add to the image. 20130313_143640.jpg 20130313_143640 (2).jpg |

Frustratingly my records include the serial 1392 with Army Group Troops diagonal bar, but lists it only as a DUKW Coy RASC. It does not give the Coy's number. I'm sure there are very full serial listings out on the www somewhere.

However, I can tell you that the Arm of Service number 1392c on RASC flash is for 377 General Transport Company RASC (DUKW).
