Default RA grenade on a shield ...

Hi,

I just get this badge in a lot... Royal artillery grenade on blue and red cloth sewn on a leather shield.
Is there a special destination for this badge or only a fantasy ?

Best regards .. Herve

It could possibly be an individual's interpretation of the sign of the Royal Artillery component of the First World War Guards Division. Mike

Yours has 9 flames = RE, although the RA did wear this pattern during 1926-1927.

Marc
