Its a badge that I am looking for. I have the type without the K/C. They are all local made, cast badges.

Default Government Guard

Most of what you would like to know is to be found in THE ARMED FORCES OF ADEN AND THE PROTECTORATE 1839-1967. This is the revised and expanded edition by Cliff Lord and David Birtles. Pse see the scans attached done in haste and out of order. I have seen photos of smaller collar badges which appear the same as the cap badge. The badge is a very well made badge.
