Default Cloth RAMC corps badges for identification

Gents, I have two Royal Army Medical Corps cloth beret badges (at least I assume they are).

1. Small round version - not familiar with this type.(cadets?)
2. Unusual embroidered type with maroon backing (Canadian?).

Any suggestions welcome gents.

Regards all

Bess

Think you're correct the first one is Affiliated Army Cadet Force units.
Never seen the second one before, if it was Canadian might there have been maple leaves instead of laurels?
Regards
Sean

I'm thinking it's an early 3 Armoured Field Ambulance badge

3 Armd Fd Amb certainly wore something very similar in the early 1980s - I cannot remember if the other BAOR Fd Ambs also wore them.

I think a maroon one was worn too similar to the blue one - but memory defeats me.

I have the circular version which I believe is for ACF RAMC sponsored detachments plus these two:

Thanks all.
The strange embroidered one is similar in design to the woven 3rd Armd Fd ambulance (which I have in my notes as 1st Gulf), but it just seems so different to the usual British army types. Who knows.

Attached my RAMC anodised and cloth set. Note the all gold and all silver example cap badges (errors no doubt) and the kings crown anodised buttons.

Thanks again all

Bess

Great collection Bess, not come across the unfinished gold and silver anodised cap badges before, although I do have them for some other Corps,
Thanks for showing
Sean

I have seen the ovoid dull cherry cloth one that you show being worn by individual TA and reg medics in the past.
