repro or real?
I know, I know, I know there are lots of reproductions out there and I have been caught too often. Usually the point of contention is the mounting system. East/west, up/down, slider etc. Any comments on this badge with the high mounted east/west loops? I notice it doesn't have the nick out of the scroll or the extra long top to the crown so I an cautious.

It looks like a good badge to me, nice clarity, good patina and the loops up there are quite common.
It will go nicely with the "VOLUNTEER" you got from me! regards

Looks nice to me too (judging on basis of standard RA badges). If I were you, I would take the link off of the forum .

Hi Gents,
I'm no expert on this badge but I did post a similar example (link below) a while back which was deemed to be wrong, so thought it might make a good comparison. I do note that this current one being offered has nicer detail than the badge I have so it would seem reasonable to conclude this one on offer is good. Hope that is of help? Cheers, Roy. http://www.britishbadgeforum.com/for...ad.php?t=39828
