Default Cap badge collection

Good morning , I have done a few house calls and bought a lot of stuff , good bad and indifferent . Once lady offered me a tin of cap badges her `Granddad brought back from the war` but as I supect alot of these are what he bought when they retired from work and decided to add the the badges they brought back ,if you guys can tell me the dross ( top row ? ) that will be great every thing will be fore sale more pics o the way ,thank you all

don't want to dash your hopes however, the majority of what you have shown so far are just downright nasty.....

I'd have to see the reverse of the other badges but the Leinster's, 20th Londons and the Berkshire Yeomanry are just pieces of scrap metal i'm afraid

Thank you ! As limited as I am with badges even I new It was never going to be a happy ending ... there's a lot of just nice honest bits but a lot of junk thank u as always

Wow! Wow! Wow! Those DSO groups are something. Bottom group with Egypt, Sudan and South Africa campaigns. Top group with 1914 "Mons" Star and "Mentioned in Despatch" MID on Victory Medal. Researching the recipients would surely render some lovely stories.

indeed .... but the medals are copies originals are coming up for sale if any one has the money to buy ??? my fee is 14% of sale price.....!

Kings Own, 20th London, 6 inniskillings and 19th Hussars are also among the copies.

Good luck! You should easily have them moved-on. Highly desirable groups. Not aware of any Maltese having such groups, or else I would have considered

The post 1992 PWRR cap badge would suggest that not all 'were brought back from the war"!
