Default William C. Ellis

Bill Ellis, (William C. Ellis) an avid collector of Canadian and British badges and a piper. He was one of the early contributors on the B&CMBF under the user name bgpipes. Bill passed away on October 4, 2011. He will be missed.

One of the greatest guys around...always had time to sit with me and my family and chew the fat.....one of the Old Guard who "got" what collecting was all about unlike the legions of "never mind what it is ,what is it worth? " types we seem to get today. RIP Bill...you were one my favourite guys in the hobby.

WOW I am shocked to hear this very sad news. Bill and I were contact many times regarding various things, including the Irish Regiment of Canada Pipe Band Circa 1940's.
Certainly I will miss him. My condolences to his family and friends.
