Default Royal Navy Free Diver Badge. Was it also worn by Royal Marines?

Hello All

I have looked on the forum for information on the Royal Navy Free Diver badge which was worn for a short period in the 1960s. I know some of the RN divers badges were also worn by the Royal Marines but can find no proof that the Free Diver badge was also worn by the RM. Can anyone give me a definite answer as to whether the RN Free Diver badge (bullion on black background) was ever worn by the Royal Marines.

Many thanks

Paddy
