Default hi

Hi,
yes i have posted on the thread, but has to be moderated first as a newbee,i have posted my real one which came out of a casualty pilots grouping which was contempory framed. Its totally different pattern as well to yours.
My opinion on your badge is old stock, date uncertain,i just dont get the gut feeling its period ,but as a space filler fine though.I have seen the copied versions which are a lot more fluffy and less detail, backing is wrong as well on these.

Hi Casper, moderation should be over. Wonder if they were made for the collectors market before man-made fibres?

Default hi

"made for the collectors market before man-made fibres?"
This is certainly possible as i owned an issued the same as yours in the 80s...but then the knowledge on ARF wings is only recent.
The thing that goes against yours is how rare these are and i have seen about ten of this same style in the last five years.
My example ,i have only seen this pattern alone in thirty years, the only other similiar is on a photo in Eagles recalled.
like i said before yours is a good gap filler.
Anyway hopefully i will get access to the album feature and be able to upload a bit of my collection !!
all the best
