Default OTC Buttons Question

Can anyone help me with two OTC button questions please.

What button did Reading University wear?

Ernest J. Martin's artilcle in the Journal of the Society for Army Historical Research, Vol. 17, No. 65 (Spring,1938), pp. 15-37 stated that Nottingham OTC wore the Sherwood Foresters button. I have a medium aa showing ‘Nottingham’ in the scroll. Does anyone know when they changed?

Thanks

Chris

University of Reading: The arms of the University with a crown above and the motto Virtus et scientia on a scroll below. I have one in my collection if you need a photo.

East Midlands Universities: Sherwood Foresters button prior to WW2. Between 1948 & 1955 a modified pattern was worn which showed, on the upper scrolls University T.C.[T.A.] and below, Nottingham.

Source, an article in the MHS BULLETIN on OTC buttons by Howard Ripley.
