I would like to share this badge I have I’m assuming it is an original

Very fake sadly. There’s only 7 or 8 known original OR badges of this type. If you search ‘double scroll Nelly’ you should find thread where a single genuine officer’s badge and OR badge is shown.

It’s good to know , I never checked but I dug it out today and compared it to one on eBay for £50 by British badges seller, I have no idea who this seller is ?

The dates on the cap badge designs are odd. Is it your collection of badges?

Hi Alan,
Yes these are my property but they came with other stuff so they are as the last collector had them I don’t collect this type of Regiment,
So I know nothing about them , the photo on the end is a screen shot of the same fake badge being sold on eBay by britishmilitarybadges

The seller uses the phrases "Guaranteed original" and "This is original" in his description!

Not a dealer who’s say so or pricing I’d rely on. A genuine one is worth about £1,000.
