It's not only comedians who are having a laugh, I sold a similar beret online with admittedly no date stamps for 99p+postage, mine never had any moth nips . . !

This beret is displayed in Fisher & Lock’s book. Beside that, I see no reason to justify the excessive price.

It bugs me that the seller called it a red beret and not maroon.
