Default The Royal Canadian Garrison Artillery - Modified Imperial Issue Cap Badge

Hi all. I have a Royal Canadian Garrison Artillery badge (modified Imperial issue) with the Canada scroll overlaid on NZ. Charlton lists the OR version of this badge 140-1-2-6, but the Officer's versions of the modified Imperial issue are listed as unknown. The badge I have has a moving wheel so very well could be an Officer's version. Good striking, slider attachment, but no makers mark that I can see. (Where would it be on a Gaunt badge?)

Has anyone else seen an Officer's version of the modified Imperial issue, or do I have a 'one of' worth a gazillon dollars?

Welcome to the forum Glen. I can't help you in your query as I have only a basic selection of Artillery badges but did want to say "Welcome!"

Hello

Could post a picture ?

Gaunt used and litle plate Saying JR Gaunt London it would be on the back of the badge usually in and around the crown area.

I hope this helps somewhat!

I know these are scarce but not worth a gazillion!

Cheers
Rob

Moving wheel is definitely a officers badge!

The overlay on the new zealand makes it unique and scarce but how much $?

I don't know I know recently a similar badge with the Canada overlay on a British arty badge Umbique went for $150ish.

I hope this helps a little!

Cheers
Rob
