Default king's own light dragoons

Think this is a helmet badge, don't know if it's rare and how old it is as I'm new to badge collecting
Thanks

Please post a photo of the rear, that is always essential in determining the originality of any badge for your future reference.

I am not convinced of its originality from the front but a rear view should decide it.

My personal opinion is that it is a chemically aged modern reproduction.
