Default DERR Title

A new addition today. I've never seen this style of DERR title before, only the solid version.

Can anyone help with when it was worn?

Thanks, Bill

Default DERR

It’s a later second pattern, with pin back and not lugs

Hi Bill,
This is the later version which replaced the solid version. Im not 100% sure as to the date it was introduced, but worn up till the amalgamation with the Glosters in 1994.

Thanks all for your replies.

David,

I do look at your albums but never really paid any attention to the titles before as I thought they were all the solid version I'll make sure I pay more attention from now on

Bill

I have just been through your Duke of Edinburgh's Royal Regiment album twice, and have not found a solid DERR shoulder title. Which image is it in please?

I have the DERR shoulder titles in anodised aluminium with lugs and clutch and pin fastening, both are void.

Hi David, Marc,

it was the 1st Pattern I was referring to as the 'solid' version.
