Default 19 WW2 Italian Badges - "Booty"

An interesting lot of 19 Italian badges, said to have been found somewhere near El Alamein, are for sale on ebay:

The charity selling these badges is also selling a Royal Tank Regiment cap badge from the same source, so it is possible that the original wearer found the Italian badges:

As far as I understand Italian WWII pith helmet badges, the example for the Infantry school would not have been in Africa, though I have one and would be happy to be corrected on this.
