Default Recon flash

Hi

I'd be grateful if someone could identify this modern badge for me please

Red Recon 'xmas tree' on dark Green (Rifle Green?) with Black merrowed edge.

Measures 31mm high, 47mm wide, velcro back.

Similar to QDG TRF granted, but not seen it in wear with Regt.

Could it be Infantry Recon Platoon Flash? as I've seen other examples with Red 'xmas tree'.

Cheers
Rob

Thanks Mercian

I think I've got the answer:

It was described to me as a Light Reconnaissance Flash.

Worn by 20th Armoured Brigade Reconnaissance Force Op Herrick 15 and interestingly C Sqn QDG wore it along with the other BRF members.

Whether it was worn after Herrick 15 I don't know.

Hope that's of interest.

Rob

Thanks Mark

Unfortunately, I do not have a badge to spare, but if another comes my way I will give you the heads up. Good luck.
