A very interesting set of 'Minutes', which leads me to believe it must have been a very badly organised unit when comparing it with others, who seem to have had few problems kitting out their battalions - even their attached Volunteer Cadets are suitably clothed too. I have some lovely group photos' from around the country as well as individual portraits of Volunteers and they follow the ACI's in regards uniform etc.

In 1918 the recreated 'Volunteer Battalions' and associated Corps were allowed to wear the cap badges of the County Regt or Corps, so a G.S. capbadge is often seen as post 1916/pre-May 1918, although you often see mixed badge groups.
