Default ROYAL MARINES FSC cap badge?

Picked up this little beauty today, bi metal RM collar. Having looked at member Irv's 'Cockle Shell Hero' thread, which includes a photo of a RM FSC, having also read on the RM Museum site about the wear of this headdress, I wonder could this be a cap badge?
Cheers Tony.

Default Royal Marines - Collar or FSC?

Tony,
I picked up a similar item recently and would also appreciate positive identification of its use.

Tony, Tim, Irv

Hopefully you can see/read the picture I've attached below which is a clip from 1948 Dress Regs. Although the badges you show are the standard collar badge from approx. 1923 - 1958, iaw the Dress Regs this is the type of badge that was worn in the FSC (Bronze for the Khaki FSC). Although I've seen the combination once or twice I have never seen it written down anywhere that this style Globe & Laurel was worn with a Lion & Crown above. I've attached a few pictures of some of the variations I have.

Paddy excellent documentation. With the heavy polishing on my example, I'm going for cap badge rather than collar. Why? Because I am

Just a thought! The 2 versions of CBs were authorised for wear on the FSCs, however to be worn at an angle. If it were me, I would specify this badge as being a cap badge, by displaying it in a frame or whatever mode of display, precisely as should be worn, i.e. at an angle , similar to the embroidered RA and RE officers cap grenades. Only problem is, what should the angle be? Collars would be displayed in normal manner
