Brisbane Gun Show 19/20th - CANCELED!

Guys,

If anyone was planning to attend the Brisbane Gun Show this weekend, please note that it has been canceled!

I just got an email about it from one of the dealers there:

Hi Mick,

Have just had a call from Howard Weston about the Arms & Militaria Fair for the 19/20th FEB.

The show has just been CANCELLED by the local Council.

The next show, hopefully, will be as scheduled, on w/end of the 28/29th MAY.

Understandably, Howard is somewhat “peeved” at the attitude displayed by Council as they had virtually assured him some weeks back that there would be no problem, and now.... this .

Can you please pass this on.

I guess this is due to the state of the venue and the recent flooding.

Thanks Mick,

Peter and I were all set to go and would have been a wasted journey. Was worried damage to venue would be an issue for organisers. Ok will wait until May! Cheers Dean.
