Dear All,

May I have your opinions about this SAS beret?

Many thanks in advance!

I’m not an expert but have done searches on this forum and I think you might find the beret is original but the cap badge is not the correct era for that beret

Im not happy with the capbadge at all.

I may be wrong as ive got all sorts of weird and wonderful versions
Geoff is correct. Not period to the beret.
Look in Ham and Jams for sale album for a good example of a period badge on similar beret.
Regards
Jon

Its a new one I've been seeing on ebay lately, a very electric blue is used.... There was a beige lined SAS beret sold very recently with the outline for a badge, but no badge on it.... possibly same one?
