information sought - Sgt Symes

Would an expert in such matters please be able to find any information including medal entitlement on the following individual who served prior to and during WW1:

6438 Lce Sgt SYMES also named on 1911 Census conducted at Buller Barracks Aldershot as Albert SYMS Driver/Saddler Army Service Corps and on another official document dated 28 May 15 as 6438 Cpl AW SYMS (on Bayonet Fighting Course at the Western Cavalry Depot). He is also believed to have served in 3 DG and 3rd Reserve Cavalry Regiment (and possibly also in British South Africa Police (BSAP))

All I could find is the attached ,if it is your man he was entitled to a WW1 pair that's all I could find.

Very many thanks. Do any of the documents you have accessed include a medal recipient's Army Number? I assume WW1 medals include Number on the rim marking? Mike

Ancestry have his number as M2/035107 ( I say that because on one record it looks like M2/035707 )

I may be wrong but I think the prefix M2 indicates Mechanical Transport Electricians, I am sure I will soon be corrected if I am wrong.

Thanks. In that case it must be a different Syms/Symes. The one I'm after was RASC TF Pre-War and appears to have been in 3 DG (as a Saddler) during the War. His original documents which I saw yesterday are contradictory in many areas.
