Default Royal Marine Police

I'm aware that our reasonably short-lived 'Police' unit had white metal badges and wondered if anyone knows their construction. The two in the attached picture differ considerably and I am curious as to whether either could be RMP cap badges. On the left is a lugged badge. It seems to be nickle or silver or some other white metal that has been plated onto another brass or similar (brass colour can be seen iside globe at rear and at the 3 points where the globe joins wreath/crown to the front). The badge on the right has a slider. It is all white metal and although thin/light it is not easily bent. The crown and attachment of laurel leaves to it is different between the two as hopefully can be seen (question on this in a separate thread). - Ray
