Default 17th and17th-21st collar badges

Hi Griff

Many thanks for speedy response. I have tried all sorts of combinations but none of them matches either the forage cap or FSC.
I will call you later.

Gordon

Gordon

After our conversation I found the Trooper's Tunic button size at "22mm", so therefore the changes in size are as follows for the collar badge:-

Height 1 = 27mm = from the top of the skull to the base of the scroll below the L of GLORY.
Height 2 = 31mm = from the top of the skull to the lower scroll Tips.
Width = 37mm = from hip ball to hip ball ends.

Hi Griff

Thank you once again, you have an excellent photographic management suite.

On the evidence of this analysis I am looking for something between the sizes of the Forage Cap and Field Service Cap mottos.

I think I will let it rest until 3748hussar comes in to bat!

Best wishes

Gordon

Hi Gordon & Griff,

Well done guys, great photos and analysis. I have re measured the field service cap mottos, these are 32 mm from the top of the skull to the tips of the scroll & 41 mm to the tips of the bones. Hope this helps.

Cheers

Phil.
