New here and looking for help please.
Thanks for letting me join, I have a general interest in the military and history.
I am a keen detectorists and yesterday I located a lovely badge down near St. Just in Cornwall. I have posted the image on a few detecting forums but nobody has identified it. I have also checked various sites with no luck. I am sure somebody on here will know what it is. Its a lovely item that is just part of my growing collection, but I am curious as to its origin. Thank you. |

Its called a Royal Cypher.
Being ER with a Kings Crown it will be Edward 7th. From its crude construction its not military. Probably dropped off a trinket for his coronation. regards

Thank you it has the bits on the back missing a pin, so it was a badge of some description. I did research Edward VII but couldn't find anything without the VII within the cypher so I wasn't sure.
