Has this been gilded?. It is quite a handsome badge. Phil.

Phil,
hard to tell from the photo, but it could just be in mint condition. All badges come like this, with a gilt finish, quickly removed by polishing and age!

Thanks Andy it's in such nice condition i think i shall keep it, most RAF badges i come across look like they have been through the wars, excuse the pun!.Regards Phil.
