Default 43mm QVC Button ID help

Evening Gents,
I am going through my old Firmin sample collection getting ready to put an album up & would like a bit of help with an ID please, this large (43mm) button came with the badges. It's a lovely gilt button FIRMIN & SONS LD STRAND LONDON marked to the rear, I realise it probably has no military connection but just wondered if anyone knew what it was, it's too nice to remain unidentified!!
Many thanks for any help,
Wilf.
PS the photo doesn't show the gilt finish too well!!

It seems Albert Edward, Prince of Wales' coat of arms on the left and on the right his wife Princess Alexandra's arms. Above to the left the royal crest, in the middle the Heir-apparent to the throne's crown and to the right the Prince of Wales' feathers. This would date the button between 1863 when they were married and 1901 when he became King Edward VII.

Rgds, Thomas

It's a livery button in that size.
You'll find matching size buttons worn on the state livery coats for the footmen in the royal household.

The year the bank was founded (1833) is on the button.
Can you find it?
