I think one of thes badges was shown on the forum fairly recently and that t was suggested that it was a scout movement badge.

Thanks for the replies and links.

Another possible lead is the British yacht club established at Kiel at the end of WW2 and administered by the MOD.

The possibilities are endless!

Would a yacht club be likely to have "1st' as part of it's title?
Yacht club - wouldn't that be "keel" and not "Kiel' (joking).
