Mike,

I believe the local artillery museum (5th (BC) Field Regiment) here in Victoria has one on display.

I am fairly certain we do not even have one in our collection at Fort Rodd Hill.

Nice acquisition!

Mike,
Many congratulations, I always say to people that they should seperate the medals from the badges, the latter were actually around at the time the unit existed and were being worn by it's members, I'm very pleased for you, waiting for a generation is long time, well done!
Kind regards Frank Kelley

This is what I understand....

This was the cap badge of the Canadian Garrison Artillery from 1892 to 1902.....

One of the QSA's that I have states that he served with CGA befor going into E Battery RCFA......

I also understand that #1 to #5 CGA these were regular forces that manned the garrison artillery at Halifax Quebec and Victoria....

Sorry but I am not up on the regiment.....

Mike
