Default Unknown White Metal Shield Shaped Cap Badge For Identification

Any assistance on this one gratefully received ! Quite a large badge (45mm x 45mm), white metal with two lugs to the East and West. Shield divided into four quarters, top left a single Lion, top right an Oak (?) Tree, bottom left Sun, bottom right two Lions, central running North to South a Bishop's crozier or Shepherd's crook , on the east and West arms are two crescents.

Might not be military, could be school, Police, municipal related who knows ! It's a well made badge with some age to it !

Please be aware it will be offered for sale once identified.

Thank you
