Looks like Martin Marsh 455 described as Grenadier Guards pugaree badge (which it ain't either!)

It's a fake - not sure to what as I think it's a fantasy design.

I was under the impression it was a repro of KK895 so not a fantasy design.

The original GG badges were finely voided. The solid version is a fantasy.
The craftsmanship to fret out the originals is impressive which is presumably why the modern fakes are solid. |

Yes I know genuine ones were voided but I didn’t realise an item lacking voiding made it ‘fantasy’ rather than a repro lacking correct voids.
A fantasy badge for me is one which is of a design that never existed. |

There never was a solid badge of this design so fake/fantast what ever - just don't but one

Thank you everyone. So I am to understand it is a reproduction of a QVC Grenadier Guards cap badge?

As I do not see the size or rear, my first impression was that it is a martingale. But for whole, I could not say. Regards, D.J.

The badge in post 1 is a fake Grenadier Guards, Victorian pagri badge.
