He's finished his walk and the total so far is over £12 million !

A fantasic job by a great man , his 100th birthday is on 30th April and a young school girl has started a campaign to get people to post 'virtual' birthday cards .

£12 million and still going! System went down today or it would have been higher. He finished his 100th lap today attended by a guard of honour from his old regiment or at least its successor! Brilliant! He thought he might get another hundred laps in as long as the money keeps flowing!!! With the gift aid contribution this brings total raised to £15,000,000.

I'm attempting to upload a short video clip of this remarkable chap.

It's an artist painting a picture of him during his walk and is shown whilst "You'll never walk alone" is playing.

Unfortunately the system won't allow it to upload.

If any of you get the opportunity to see it, please do, it's fantastic and a well deserved tribute to Captain Tom.

I shall persevere.

Regards.

Brian
