Yeah - they are Army surplus stores though these days they have very little in the way of actual army kit. More camping equipment these days.

Australian Military forces Whitemetal
Adding to this thread on silver rising suns. I have the Commonwealth Rising sun in silver. I also have a whitemetal Australian Military Forces rising sun (maker mark Amor), after an opinion or any information regarding this badge.

I have a Amor one like yours but its abit knocked around and made with soft metal. I have 2 made by Luke that are much harder and seem to be better made from 1948-53 photos attached Also i have 3 crome plated australian commonwealth military forces hat badges, one you can see the name luke through the crome the other 2 have no makers name 2 bend easy one is solid. macca |
