What can anyone tell me about these, please?

I believe those are Home Guard badges for the County of London. The RF were of course connected in that regard, but others will surely be able to elaborate.

As CB said, Home Guard arm insignia, although these look somewhat different to the normal Home Guard issue, possibly officers.

The cloth badges are indeed in the Home Guard style although they normally cam as two parts, the letters and another below with the Battalion Number eg COL/5.

I have never seen an example with the letter K below. The only thing I can think is that it could represent K Zone of the London Home Guard. The HG Zones matched the Metropolitan Police's Divisions and their K Division covered West Ham and Dagenham both of which had City of London HG Bns.

Only guess work though.
