Default Officer collars?

Just checking if these two are officer collars. The D &D looks to have been bronzed? They were not amalgamated until 1958 so these metal collars I assume we're short lived. The Queen's is very shiny, were that silver plated and gilt? Any guidance as always appreciated.

D and D worn by officers and WO1's on Service Dress

I'm unsure about the Queens Regiment one but it was also worn by the Princess of Wales's Regiment, I wondered if it was worn by all ranks.
Regards
Sean

The Queens/PWRR just Officers. The ORs had the same in anodised . There are new metal versions with pins also.
The No2,service dress collar is worn by all ranks in a bronzed finish.

The D&D is more interesting. As previously stated ,worn by WO1s and Officers ,but its the first pattern . Measurement across the bottom scroll is 32mm . Note the non void either side of the central turret. Finally the top scrolls sit higher up the central scroll. Also found in silver/gilt with and without voids Worn until 1978 i think could be 72 when it was replaced by a smaller version with a different pattern number. Im sure Lassiepen will give you the correct date .

Thanks for the replies both. The D &D collar is indeed 32mm across the bottom scroll.

Cheers,

John
