WWI Despatch Rider Group With Insignia

I wanted to share this recent addition to my collection.

A splendid image showing a group of Great War Despatch Riders and astonishingly the rare WWI DR insignia (which I'm still looking for) is in abundance with no less than three examples visible.

Once again...I'm still looking for one of these patches, should anyone see one or have one available.

Very interesting. As was customary, all have been given rank or appointment, armed with pistol set. One still wears Imperial Service tablet badge.
