I am not surprised you are saving with the book priced at at £3,956.15.
Some mistake surely?

Just buy it direct from Chris (hagwalther).
Why spend extra and give Amazon commission when you don't need to! Mick

He's got loads of books on at stupid prices. I think it must be some sort of a 'not in stock at the moment but as no one will buy it at that price I'll keep a listing open until I get one in' price. Still makes an interesting change from all the .99p books.

Hi Jerry,
Nope price will stay at 95GBP inc shipping for UK customers if payment is via my UK bank A/C. I do wonder what it may be worth in a few years though. One Canadian collector purchased four copies and another purchased two copies so it looks like a few are being put away as an investment for the future. There is a still a small stock in the UK for immediate shipping and a slightly larger stock here in EnZed for the rest of the world but that will be about it. I have no plans for a further edition or printing. I am currently working on a 'New Metal' follow up version which is based on the same layout as my A/A book. It is currently 95% text written but I have not started photography yet. The new book (if I go ahead) will be smaller and cheaper to print and post though as there are fewer badges to comment on. However, I am still looking for approx. 10 official badges of the 160 odd MoD authorised pieces which are/were provided by the public purse, 8 other authorised pieces provided at regimental/corps expense and 13 'possibles'. Regards Chris |

Which ones, exactly, are you looking for? could you post or email a list? I would be more than happy to keep an eye out.

Have a gander at this: http://www.aacapbadges.com/wanted.html It shows A/A badges first but scroll down and you will see some of the 'New Metal' cap badges that I am after. Note: The King's Royal Hussars [All Ranks] [Cap] - lettering is black - NSN 8455-99-227-8813; Pattern No. D00697 also The Royal Irish Regiment (27th (Inniskilling) 83rd and 87th and Ulster Defence Regiment) [Cap] [Soldiers] Shank - NSN 8455-99-978-8770; Pattern No. 24648 These 'should be easy' to find and eBay is full of them but they all seem to be 'knock offs' or PRI pieces. I really need these two in original packaging to be sure. The rest should be easy to identify as the 'real thing' without packaging. There are a couple of others too but I need to do more work on them to be sure. Regards Chris |

I would have paid that but the p&p is a bit OTT.
